Residents are an emerging learner group within PRTP. This pathway is intended to support structured research-related learning experiences that complement resident development and align with available mentorship and project opportunities.
Resident involvement in PRTP is designed to encourage engagement with research, applied learning, and scholarly development in ways that fit the clinical and educational context of residency. Experiences may vary depending on timing, scope, and mentor availability.
Residents may participate in selected research-related activities, project support, educational sessions, or other structured opportunities that align with program goals and learner readiness. Participation is guided by project fit, availability, and supervision.
Residents interested in learning more about PRTP opportunities can reach out to the team to discuss availability, fit, and next steps at prtp@cookchildrens.org.
